Membership
Commonplace Vasse is community venue set amongst a private residential farm estate that offers membership to Private Citizens and Members Groups, who value having a "village space" which they can contribute to and create community, with the purpose of elevating beauty and goodness in the world, locally.
Members access heavily discounted space hire to Commonplace Vasse (or in some cases fully subsidised or sponsored free space use), plus enjoy a huge arrange of benefits from the Commonplace Community Members Ecosystem.
In addition to your own personal goals and ambitions with the space, Commonplace Vasse is seen as a lighthouse in the community, a gathering place, a village, a home away from home, a community garden, a nature wonderland -- it's a place and sense of belonging.
Membership can also be entirely digital / online to our Commonplace Connect digital community, and all membership dues go towards supporting the incredible community initiatives that take place in the space.
Members of the community contribute a weekly or monthly donation - called the Custodian Contribution. Commonplace is self-funded by the venue's revenue (space hire + memberships) and relies on these contributions for the general running of the venue.
When everyone contributes a little, it goes a very long way.
The ethos of community membership is both giving and receiving in equal measure.
Memberships should not be seen as a transaction, but a contribution.
VISITORS DONATION
